Coffee Production Benefits from RFA Partnership

In developing countries, producers of coffee are benefitting from the Rainforest Alliance movement to create more sustainable coffee growing practices. World Coffee News, which investigates and follows coffee stories from around the world, learn about coffee growing farmers in Guatemala.

An association of 52 coffee farmers orginally got together to pool their expertise and resources. Now they are part of the Rainforest Alliance and under the RFA certification, are educating other farmers about improved practices, reducing deforestation and developing more sustainable farming practices.
